Export and Import: Portable AI Workflows

Another team wants the workflow you built, in another project. Export it as one file, import it where it is needed, and MagOneAI tells you exactly what still has to be wired up.

What You Will Learn

  • Exporting a workflow from its card menu as a single JSON file
  • What travels in the file: the workflow, its agents and a list of what it depends on
  • What deliberately stays behind: secret values, and the links to tool connections, LLM configs and knowledge bases
  • Importing as a new use case, with a preview of what will be created before you commit
  • Reading the dependency check: which MCP tools are ready, which are missing, and which LLM configs to verify
  • Importing into an existing use case as a new draft revision, while the published version stays live
  • Why only files exported from MagOneAI can be imported, and why a duplicate name is refused
